veni, vidi, vici! the croatian version
It's time for another feature and it's my pleasure to talk about a car that not only look good but it's fast as well. You might say that all the cars we featured are fast. That is true. Yet this one is a proven winner. Few weeks ago, during the first season of RallyX, this car has done something that really impressed me.
After the first two missed rounds from health issues a young driver finally place his car at the start line on the last round of the series. It's the qualifying heat and he has a though race ahead with rivals like S3BY (Round 2 winner and later on RallyX Season 1 Champion), WISPOSMOKE (2nd on Round 1 and a fast driver overall) and MARTINLEON (4th on Round 1). The race started and I guess nobody expected the result..the first one to cross the finish line was him and that raised some eyebrows..
It's time for the Final race and even faster drivers are now at the start line. But that doesn't matter. When the race end and the dust settle there's only one winner: STREETLEGENDS and his Hatchback!

First of all, tell us something about you? How this street legend all begun?
I started playing World in 2010, when it became free-to-play. About the name STREETLEGENDS... Well, I was in a need for a "cool" name, so I tried out a few names, but none of them was good enough. STREETLEGENDS was my 3rd driver, the rest is history.
You are the admin of a nice community, Acceleration. How this all started?
Acceleration started on my Facebook profile, where I was posting pictures of cars and even reviewed some of them. The idea of a NFS-related group was born in my head after two months of posting car reviews on my profile. I made the page called "Ubrzanje"(means Acceleration in Croatian language) and it was the place where people from my region could hang out with each other; basically it was Acceleration like it is now, only in Croatian. It was a small community, so I wanted more, but that didn't happen, so I made the site "invisible".
After a few months me and MALY7 wanted to make a mutual site same as the old one, only for international purposes, and it had to be an English one.
So far we have had ups and downs, but I assume that we can only grow bigger now, at about 130 fans (the old one had about 20).

You are our partners for a while now. What about the rallying world attracted you guys?
Before I even heard about you, I was playing DiRT 3, and I quite liked driving old rally cars on the stages. I saw that NFS World had a terrain for rallying, but there were no rally groups at that time. Some months after we made the site, we were in a need for a media partner and you were the first ones on my mind - because of "the cool factor", because of epic abilities in rallying, great customization and because you people were (and still are) different from the rest.
You entered the first season of RallyX driving an Impreza. Why the Hatchback?
Why? That's a difficult question. I don't know, actually.
I mean, Delta HF Integrale Evo is somewhat pretty, drives really good, but it cannot be customized very well. Maybe it's because I saw a lot of great looking Hatches on your Open Doors event, or maybe because I wanted to continue driving a Subaru after that event (BTW I drove the older Impreza there).
One more thing - I noticed how well does the Hatch perform on the stages, so I suppose I'll continue driving it.

Sadly you missed the first 2 rounds of the series, but when you got back you trashed everyone and win. I'm sure the car has something to do with?
Yeah, that was bad for my points.
The car? Maybe...It's almost fully Ultra tuned at the moment, it's got "a special STREETLEGENDS approved setup". I'm sure that the car is good, but there are only a few who can drive it really good trough the Rally courses. I guess my driving style has also something with it, because the car is basically built by me and for me.
Is there any chance we can take a peak under that hood? Or the setup is a secret?
The setup is secret at the moment, but I can tell you one thing - I focused on acceleration, because that's the only thing I need in a car.
I can turn and reach top speed, that's easy, but I can't flat out and make the car accelerate faster if I don't tune it to do so.
Again, not everybody is comfortable with this setup, that's the way i drive.

Let's talk about the livery than. We have here two versions and both are looking good. Let's start with the one you had it on the car for the RX season 1. What inspired you?
Well, I didn't have much time to be original. I was checking out Hoonigan's Facebook site and saw a picture showing bright colored Hoonigan zip ties. I decided to make my Subie matte black and put as much colors as I could, but they had to be wisely chosen, because I didn't want the car to appear...Hmmm, gay-ish.
The number 69 was not chosen for its worldwide fame (LOL), but because it looks the same, whether you look it from the bottom or from the top.
Or because you plan to look good as well when roll the car on the dirt track?
Yea

How about the second livery?
Well, I wanted to keep some things - the decals position, the numbers and matte paint. The inspiration was found in Matt Powers' drift Silvia S14 (those "zebra" stripes). I tried to make them on my STi, but it looked very bad. Instead, I tried to make muddy stripes and they came out pretty cool in my eyes, so I kept them.
Positioning them was very difficult and I also wanted to add some fresh touches to the bright green, so I applied baby blue details.
Now it looks pretty cool to me, but I'm still crying for some manufacturer vinyls to finish the work.
Oh,and the "A" letter.That was a must-have on both liveries.
Any aftermarket parts you want to mention?
Not actually. A/M wheels look pretty bad, so I put only a plate saying "EAT DUST" (literally meant it) and a black window tint.

One thing is sure..this car crave for action. You plan to race it again?
Subaru has got a rally heritage, and so does my car.
If you make the M3 E30 rally-legal, I might try it out, but if it doesn't satisfy me, I'll stick to the green beast (I suppose it won't be green again, because I plan to make a new, summer livery).
So you plan a livery update soon?
Yep, I'll make something even more fresh for the summer. I guess there are going to be more wild colors on the new livery (or car).
We are looking forward to see it. Anything alse you would like to add about the current Hatch?
Well, I think I said a lot.
Hatch is a good car in my eyes, the only thing I hate about it is it when it's about to land on asphalt - it leans forward, so it actually crashes the front end and it loses speed.

Would you like to say something in your native language for the croatian fans?
I'll quote a politician: "PIPL MAST TRAST AS!" (she wanted to say it in English, but it sounded like that )
Boy that was funny,it was all over the Net
Any future advice for us?
Keep up the awesome work! I want to experience rallying at its finest everytime I race in your events, and so far the experience was great!
The only thing I really want is NFS World to sponsor you, so you can have even cooler prizes.
And, the most important, KEEP RALLYING!
